Or email support@reelyours.com and tell us what you tapped before the problem. Send a video only if you want us to see it; ReelYours never collects your media.
Talk reels
Why does my first talk take a few minutes? An English talk is checked in seconds. For your first Hindi talk, ReelYours needs its speech model (about 650 MB, downloaded over Wi-Fi, often already done by the time you start), and then gets it ready for your iPhone, which takes about 4 minutes. After that, talks start straight away. After each app update, the getting-ready step runs once more.
Which backgrounds can be replaced? A green screen or a plain wall. ReelYours leaves a busy background, like a room or a street, as it is, and doesn’t offer a new one. When a talk has several videos, every one needs a green screen or plain wall behind you, so the whole reel looks the same.
Which languages does it understand? Talk reels find retakes in Hindi and English, including talks that mix the two. Moments reels write captions in the languages your iPhone can recognise without the internet.
A retake was missed, or the wrong part was taken out. On the Retakes step, play each one: Keep last take removes the first try, Keep both leaves it in, and Undo puts back one you removed. You can also trim any part yourself.
What does “Check with AI” send? Only the words spoken in that video, with their timing, after you agree once. Never the video or audio. Each iPhone gets 3 free checks, and a check is used only if AI finds more retakes: if it finds nothing, or can’t finish, it’s free. Keep ReelYours open while it checks (up to a minute or two for a long video).
Making your reel
Can I leave the app while my reel is made? Keep ReelYours open until it’s done: iOS pauses video work in apps you’ve left. If it stops, tap Create reel again and it carries on from where it stopped. The same goes for an AI check for retakes.
4K or 1080p? When you filmed in 4K, you can choose. 4K is sharper; 1080p is quicker to make. ReelYours shows about how long each takes.
Why are captions missing? Captions (in moments reels) need Speech Recognition permission, which you can check in iPhone Settings › ReelYours. You can also make a reel without captions.
Why does a video look soft? A low-resolution video can look softer in a vertical reel, especially with Fill screen, which crops and enlarges it. Use Fit to keep the whole frame.
Drafts and storage
Where are my drafts? On your iPhone, in ReelYours. They aren’t backed up to iCloud, and they’re removed if you delete the app.
How do I free up space? A draft keeps a copy of your videos so you can edit it again. Once its reel is made, choose “Keep the reel only” for that draft to delete the copies. A draft also goes once you save its reel to Photos and leave it, unless you tap Back to editing.
